Quiet Sea

Quiet sea

Among a hundred masts that sail

And leave the shores behind,

How many will be torn away and vail

By restless waves and wind

The winds and waves, they call your name,

And pull you close, then break the same,

I look for you on every road and every flame

The waves are restless- just the same.

Among the seagulls that cross the skies,

That wander far and wide,

How many will be lost beneath

Where storm and waves arise?

Whether fortune leads your way

The birds or dreams you chase alone,

They find you in each step you take,

No matter where you are gone

Unspoken thoughts inside your song,

They echo through the blue

They rise and fall eternally

The waves, the winds, and you.
